Wex Photographer of the Year 2023
After many years of entering this competition, I still can't quite believe that I've actually won it.
For those of you who don't know, Wex Monday's is a weekly competition where you to post one image to Twitter on a Monday that you've taken during the previous week and tag it with the #WexMondays hashtag. The images are then judged on the Tuesday and 10 images are shortlisted before a final top three are selected with 100 points awarded to the winner, 50 points for second and 25 for third - the remaining seven shortlisted images receive 10 points each. The photographer with most points at the end of year wins the grand prize of £1500 in Wex Photo Vouchers.
Congratulations also go to Daniel Sands as runner-up and Jay Birmingham in third place. Well done to everyone else that entered and made the shortlist or a top three podium place - the standard has been very high, which makes it an incredibly difficult competition and a huge honour to win it.
